Kerensa Durr and Brandon Hatcher, founders of “RV to Freedom” and the online course “Roadmap to Full-Time RVing,” have joined the Escapees RV Club staff as directors of content strategy. According to a press release, they will continue their work with RV to Freedom while working for Escapees.
“Joining Escapees was a natural fit for us as they have a strong focus on community and RV education just like we do at RV to Freedom. Working together, we can help build and support the RV community even more,” said Durr.
Currently, the social hub of RV to Freedom, the RV to Freedom Facebook group, has over 36,000 members. Founded in 1978, Escapees is one of the largest and most active RV clubs with over 60,000 members.
“We are thrilled to have Brandon and Kerensa join the Escapees RV Club family. They have been part of our family for years, attending and hosting Xscapers convergences,” said Melanie Carr, vice president of Escapees RV Club. “The choice to work together was an easy one to make. Both Escapees and RV to Freedom work towards a common goal of helping RVers succeed in this lifestyle. We look forward to bringing their passion and dedication to the RV community to the Escapees team and creating amazing things together.”
The couple will focus strategic content development (blogs, video, articles, etc) around the Escapees and Xscapers brands. Xscapers is a particular focus as this group within Escapees is rapidly growing with its appeal to a new generation of active and adventurous RVer. “We want to give the RVing community what it wants and needs and let them know there is a place for them here,” Hatcher stated.
