According to a press release, Escapade focuses on the RV way of life, delivering an extensive lineup of educational workshops and lifestyle presentations for the RV enthusiast.

For the serious RVer, Escapade is the perfect opportunity to learn or refine the nuances of a lifestyle that continues to attract devotees. It’s also a great way to meet like-minded folks enjoying the adventure that their “home on wheels” conveys. First held in Bakersfield, Calif., in 1979, with 24 families attending, the event hosts more than 1,500 attendees from across the nation and internationally.

As the third-largest RV club in the nation, Escapees RV Club members share a very special bond and a passion for RV travel. Classes are geared to the needs of serious RVers as well as teaching RV basics to folks just joining the RV lifestyle.

On March 11, Escapade hosts a complimentary community appreciation day as a special thank you to the surrounding communities. Area residents are invited to visit from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to learn more about the club, its members and living the RV lifestyle. Guests may participate in the seminars, craft show-and-sell, and peruse the wide selection of RV-related products available in the exhibitor and market areas.

First-rate evening entertainment, crafts sessions, line dancing, RV driving classes, travel, computer and RV technical presentations, and daily socials round out the busy week of Escapade. Escapees RV Club and Adventure Caravans will bring all-American singers, songwriters, and musicians Ron and Kay Rivoli to the Escapade stage for Sunday evening entertainment, and Brent Webb, “The Master Mind,” entertains Escapade attendees on Monday night.
