Euramax International Inc., parent of RV industry supplier Amerimax Building Products, reports it earned $2.1 million during the first quarter, offsetting the loss of $2.1 million it incurred during the first three months of 2001.
The Norcross, Ga.-based company’s first quarter sales revenue increased 1% to $133 million, and the company noted “sales to U.S. RV producers increased compared to the same quarter in the previous year for the first time since the first quarter of 2000.”
Euramax’ sales in the U.S. increased 10.3% in the first quarter while its sales in Europe declined 11.5% during the period.
In the U.S., in addition to supplying exterior components to RV builders, the company also makes rain carrying products and accessories and steel and aluminum roofing and siding.
