The Skyline RV Division, now part of the EverGreen Recreation Vehicles LLC’s family of companies, will be hosting a Skyline dealer reunion party before the National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky. According to a press release, the event is scheduled for Dec. 1 at the Spire Room atop the Hyatt Regency Hotel from 6-9 p.m. EST and will “celebrate the long Skyline RV history and its future as part of the EverGreen family.”
Industry veterans and RV and manufactured housing Hall of Famers Arthur A. Decio and Kelly L. Rose will be present to meet and greet Skyline dealers old and new. Decio founded Skyline while Rose serves as chairman for Middlebury, Ind.-based EverGreen.
“In this time of growth and change we want to take a moment to thank all the Skyline RV dealers who’ve helped establish the brand over the years. We look forward to seeing Skyline RV dealers from the past, present as well as future dealers interested in the brand. This will also be a perfect opportunity to officially bring Skyline into the EverGreen family,” said EverGreen President and COO Mark Boessler.
“This melding of the companies would not have been possible without Art Decio and Kelly Rose,” said Don Emahiser, general manager of the Skyline RV Division. “Kelly’s vision to pursue a partnership with one of the most iconic, longstanding RV brands in the industry and unite it with this young, thriving company is off to a brilliant start.”
Rose added, “The Skyline RV name has impacted families for generations and continues to live on in those memories. Not many other things have that kind of staying power, but Art has created something that will remain true to his legacy even as it becomes part of the EverGreen family. We will both be on hand to pay tribute to this new era of Skyline RV.”
