Kelly L. Rose, chairman of newly formed EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC in Middlebury, Ind., announced the introduction of a “Green Team” to launch the new line of Ever-Lite fully composite, lightweight, travel trailers and fifth-wheels.
Ever-Lite travel trailers and fifth-wheels will be built of a wood-free, all composite sidewall, floor and roof construction process utilizing the company’s ComposiTek, a lightweight, green material that is completely formaldehyde and VOC free.
Rose, an automotive and RV industry veteran who has owned and launched a succession of successful private and public brands, for both manufacturing and tier-one supplier firms, including ASA Electronics, Starcraft Automotive Group, Tecstar LLC and StarQuest, has assembled a management team with over 100 years of industry experience, according to a news release.
Long-time business and management associate Michael H. Schoeffler is CEO and Douglas M. Lantz is president and COO. Steven A. Crawford will oversee production for the company as vice president of manufacturing. Kevin C. Slater is the vice president of sales and Kenneth A. Mahaffa, the industry’s most experienced expert in lamination of composite materials, is EverGreen’s vice president of materials research and development.
Lantz, Crawford, Slater and Mahaffa, have been working on the technologies for developing the RV Industry’s first all composite, environmentally friendly travel trailers for over three years. Representatives from EverGreen Recreational vehicles will be seeking new dealers at this week’s 46th National RV Trade Show at the Kentucy Exposition Center (KEC) in Louisville, Ky.
