With about 200 days to go before the 2012 SEMA Show, exhibitors are poised to “make a strong presence” at the annual event taking place Tuesday-Friday, Oct. 30-Nov. 2 in Las Vegas, according to a press release.
While manufacturers continue to submit applications for booth space on a daily basis, more than 1,000 companies have already committed to exhibiting at the upcoming event. This number includes 175 companies that met with SEMA staff and show organizers during the recent Exhibitor Summit in Las Vegas.
“We’re encouraged by the optimism that we are seeing from exhibitors,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of events and communications. “In addition to securing space early, exhibitors are working closely with us to learn how they can increase the return on their investment. We’re committed to educating them about how they can increase their return on investment (ROI).”
During the Exhibitor Summit, exhibitors spent two and half days in Las Vegas to learn how to best set up a booth, save money on a variety of services, generate the most buzz about a new product .
“The Exhibitor Summit is one of the most effective tools we have to assist exhibitors,” said MacGillivray. “We offer a number of programs to help exhibitors promote their new products and connect with buyers. During the summit, we are able to meet with exhibitors face-to-face and demonstrate the value of programs such as the New Products Showcase.”
Those who were unable to attend the Exhibitor Summit are able to view video recordings of the sessions at no cost.
