The stock prices of Featherlite Inc. and Thor Industries Inc. continued climbing today (April 23).
Featherlite, the manufacturer of Vantare-brand bus conversions and aluminum specialty trailers, saw its stock price increase another 94 cents, or 33%, today to close at $3.78 a share in Nasdaq Stock Market trading.
Earlier in today’s trading session, Featherlite shares climbed as high as $4, a new 52-week high, surpassing its previous 52-week high of $3 a share, established Monday (April 22).
Early Monday, Featherlite reported it returned to profitability during the first quarter and its stock price more than doubled on Monday.
Featherlite stock closed at $1.30 a share on Friday (April 19).
Meanwhile, Thor stock climbed as high as $62 a share today, a new 52-week high. It closed today at $61.24, up 99 cents in New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) trading.
Also today, two companies that reported their first quarter earnings saw their stock prices head in opposite directions.
National RV Holdings Inc., which reported a $3.3 million loss of the first quarter, saw its stock price increase 10 cents a share today to close at $14.10 in NYSE trading.
National RV stock is within striking distance of its 52-week high of $15.10.
However, supplier/distributor Patrick Industries Inc., which reported that it returned to profitability during the first quarter, saw its stock price tumble 79 cents, or 8%, in Nasdaq trading today to close at $8.75 a share.
Patrick’s 52-week high is $9.94 and its 52-week low is $5.45.
