Proper tire inflation pressure is important to safe RV travel, but no one can deny that checking and adjusting pressure is a time consuming hassle.
According to a press release, the new 2Way Air system by Rock Smasher Engineering makes the process quick and easy via a centralized manifold system that allows simultaneous inflation/deflation of all tires. Simply plumb the vehicle, coach or trailer with the kit’s 3/8- and 1/4-inch polyurethane manifold tubing and push-to-connect fittings, and install one connection point valve near each tire.
The manifold is accessed with patented quick-connect “whips” that push onto the tire stem and connection point valve. Once the whips are attached, you can air up all tires at once through one valve on the central control station using any air source; the system’s adjustable tire pressure set point valve prevents over inflation.
To air down, just open the ball valve to release air pressure from all tires. The 2WayAir four-tire kit includes everything needed for installation and retails for $329.95. Kits for six-, eight- and 10-tire vehicles are also available, as well as an on-board air kit for use with existing air systems on the vehicle.
