RVIA members elected two new members, two incumbents and one past member to the RVIA board of directors during the association’s elections, which concluded on Aug. 25 with 237 eligible voting members casting ballots.
Jeffrey Miller, president and CEO of Carriage Inc., and Bob Tiffin, president and CEO of Tiffin Motorhomes, were newly elected to the board as manufacturer representatives.
The incumbents re-elected were Mike Harris, president and CEO of Thetford/Norcold, as an at-large representative and Dick Parks, CEO and chairman of the board of Newmar Corp., as a manufacturer representative.
Garry Enyart, RV business director of Cummins Power Generation, returns as an at-large representative after previously serving on the board in 2005.
Due to a tie in the regular election, RVIA members will vote a sixth candidate to the board through a special runoff election with Dan Eckenroad of Power Gear/Kwikee and Jason Lippert of Lippert Components vying for the seat. Official ballots have been mailed with members having to return their ballots to RVIA by Sept. 15.
The RVIA board of directors has the highest level of authority in the association’s organizational structure. It is responsible for association affairs on a broad policy basis. The newly elected members will begin their terms on Oct 1.
