A total of six Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. motorhome lines – including two of the company’s highline American Coach brands – have been equipped with lengthy full-wall slideouts for 2007 – two years after the Riverside, Calif., manufacturer debuted its first full-wall slide on a gas-fueled Pace Arrow. The American Eagle Class A diesel pusher shown here features a 27 1/2-foot-long, full-wall slideout room compartment. American Coach motoromes are built on the Southern California company’s proprietary Spartan-based Liberty chassis with GVWRs ranging from 34,600 pounds to 44,600 pounds and standard Cummins or optional Caterpillar engines running from 400 to 600 hp. MSRP’s on the American Eagle, available in seven floorplans in lengths of 40 to 45 feet, starts at $354,900.
