Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. reported its RV revenues were down marginally during the three months ended April 30, the fourth quarter of its fiscal year 2000.

However, Fleetwood also reported record RV revenues for its entire fiscal year 2000, despite the cooling off during its fourth fiscal quarter.

Because dealer order volumes were below the company’s expectations during the February-through-April period, Fleetwood will adjust its production schedules to follow retail sales trends, said Nelson Potter, president.

During the three months ended April 30, Fleetwood’s RV sales totaled $498 million, compared with $500 million a year earlier. Its motorhome sales were down about 1% to $310 million while its travel trailer and fifth-wheel revenues were flat at $157 million.

Meanwhile, Fleetwood’s folding camper sales increased 7% during its fourth fiscal quarter to a record $31 million.

During its entire fiscal year 2000, Fleetwood’s RV revenues increased 11% to $1.91 billion. Its motorhome revenues were up 13% to $1.20 billion and its travel trailer and fifth-wheel revenues increased 7% to $590 million.

Fleetwood’s folding camper sales also increased 7% during its fiscal year 2000 to $124 million.
