Fleetwood Industries Inc. debuted the value-priced 2007 RedLine sport utility recreation vehicle (SURV) during its 2006 National Dealer Meeting Aug. 27-29 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nev., the company’s first in six years. With a base MSRP of $21,525, Redline features four travel trailer and two fifth-wheel floorplans – three of which are configured to sleep up to 10 people – representing the Riverside, Calif., manufacturer’s third toy hauler series along with the GearBox and Nitrous HyperLite. “(RedLine) is built to be the best value in the toy hauler marketplace,” said Chris Braun, Fleetwood RV executive vice president. Featuring wood-and-aluminum construction in the travel trailers and wood-and-fiberglass in the fifth-wheels, RedLine sports laminate countertops in a natural stone finish, flush cargo floor tie-downs and aluminum-framed non-skid ramp doors with a “beavertail” that creates a lower angle for easier entry into the garage.
