In conjunction with Fleetwood RV’s recent exclusivity agreement to use Caterpillar C-series engines on all diesel-pusher motorhomes, the Riverside, Calif., manufacturer is offering a program for its dealers to become authorized Caterpillar service centers.
According to Fleetwood, the program will “provide greater customer service, while increasing their profit potential.”
The company said that other benefits for participating dealers would include direct access to all the latest Caterpillar service and technical bulletins; the ability to buy Caterpillar parts; and the ability to perform Caterpillar engine maintenance and warranty repairs.
“By becoming an authorized Caterpillar service center, our dealers will have a chance to offer a more complete level of service to their customers and enhance their parts and service departments’ earnings potential,” said John Davis, vice president of after sales services for Fleetwood RV. “This will move our dealers along the path to becoming a one-stop service shop, something customers truly value. It is a win for our customers and our dealers.”
