Flexsteel Industries Inc. reports its RV seating sales revenue increased more than 20% during the three-month and six-month periods ended Dec. 31.
The Dubuque, Iowa company’s RV seating sales increased 28% in the October-through-December period to $17.8 million and sales climbed 23% higher in the June-December period to $37.5 million.
The company’s total sales increased 12% in the three months ended Dec. 31, which is the second quarter of its fiscal year 2003, to $73.6 million. Its net income in the three-month period more than tripled to $2.2 million, compared with $700,000 earned in the same period a year earlier.
During the first half of its fiscal 2003, Flexsteel’s total sales increased 11% to $143.6 million and its net income totaled $4.2 million, compared with $900,000 in the same period a year earlier.
In addition to RV seating, Flexsteel also produces seating products for the residential and commercial markets.
