An estimated 5,000 motorhomes began rolling in this weekend for the Family Motor Coach Association’s (FMCA) 73rd International Convention at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry, Ga.
According to the Houston Home Journal, the RV consumer club, which boasts nearly 127,000 members, will take over the spacious facility starting today (March 21) through Thursday.
The FMCA convention includes a sizable motorhome exhibition, with major manufacturers and dealers from across North America displaying hundreds of coaches and products.
This year marks the fourth time the FMCA rally has been held in Perry. According to the local paper, all three of the previous FMCA conventions held at the agricenter rank among the 10 largest events the association has hosted.
Activities include a full slate of seminars and workshops along with several special events and tours of the area.
In addition to daily entertainment throughout the rally, evening headliners include Marc Frampton and the Hollywood Hills Orchestra, Pam Tillis and the Oak Ridge Boys.
