Members of the Family Motor Coach Association FMCA are making plans to head to Perry, Ga. for the group’s,March 15-18 97th International Convention & RV Expo. Owners of approximately 2,700 RVs will take part in the event, which has been dubbed “Southern Charm,” in honor of the host area. All RV owners are invited to attend the event.
“We love visiting the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry,” said FMCA National President Jon Walker in a press release. “The staff at the fairgrounds and members of the local community are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make FMCA members feel welcome.”
This, in part, explains why FMCA will be hosting its 10th event at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter. In addition to being located right off Interstate 75, a main north-south route for snowbirds and other travelers, the facility is tailor-made for an FMCA convention. The venue has abundant space for families to park their RVs and stay on-site, and offers first-class facilities to accommodate the exhibits, seminars, and other activities that take place during an FMCA event.
The RV expo that unfolds during the FMCA convention is a key element. Major RV manufacturers will display units in a variety of types, sizes, and price ranges. Plus, hundreds of companies will set up displays of RV components and accessories, home products, and RV-related services. The show will also feature around 100 seminars on a wide range of topics, including towing a vehicle behind a motorhome to microwave-convection cooking.
RV owners are invited to bring their vehicle and stay on-site to enjoy all of the activities. Attendees who don’t yet own an RV are welcome to come for the day and just explore the RV expo, or purchase a passport that allows them to take part in all activities (with no RV parking).
