The gathering scheduled for near Buffalo in August will be the first for the FMCA in New York State since 1977, when it staged a convention near Syracuse.
Also, its convention in Albuquerque during the spring of 2004 will be a first for the FMCA, although the association did have a convention in Las Cruces, N.M., in 1998.
The FMCA also had an intentional convention in Minot as recently as 1995.
FMCA international conventions have come to serve as major consumer shows for highline motorhome enthusiasts, featuring displays of the latest models built by many major motorhome manufacturers and the newest products from components and accessories suppliers.
