                                    Forest River Inc.’s diesel division has increased its U.S. market share by 30.57% and retail registrations by 37.99% year-to-date through October, according to data released Monday (Dec. 15), by Statistical Surveys Inc., Grand Rapids, Mich.

The growth figures for Forest River’s Legacy, Berkshire, Berkshire XL and Charleston lines compare positively with average, year-to-date, U.S. sales figures for competitive diesel brands of 5.68%, Statistical Surveys confirms.

“Our tremendous growth tells us that we are making products that consumers want to own,” stated Mike Peterson, Forest River diesel division sales manager, noting that a lineup full of “desirable floorplans and rich features at affordable prices” is behind the surge in diesel sales for dealers handling Class A diesel pushers for Forest River, a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Peterson thanked the company’s “dealer partners” for the Forest River division’s growth in 2014 while looking forward to a “fantastic” 2015. Dealers, for their part, also appeared to share Peterson’s optimism.
