Nacogdoches, Texas, manufacturer Foretravel Motorhomes Inc. has redesigned its mid-priced Nimbus diesel pusher for 2007 with five floorplans on the company’s new 34,800-pound GVWR proprietary TravelRyde chassis. “One of the unique things about the chassis is that you can drop the airbags and still fit the coach under most 12-foot garage doors,” said Terry Nabours, director of marketing and dealer support. The 2007 Nimbus recently was shown for the first time at the Family Motor Coach Association’s (FMCA) convention in Pomona, Calif. Featuring 81-inch ceilings, more residential-style interiors, full body paint with double clearcoat finish and one-piece windshields, the 2007 Nimbus is available in triple- or four-slide floorplans. Powered standard by either Cummins 400-hp ISL or 500-hp ISM diesel engines, depending on floorplan, Nimbus MSRPs range from $360,000 to $460,000.
