Highline motorhome manufacturer Foretravel Inc., Nacogdoches, Texas, has opened a company-owned, full-service dealership in the Spokane, Wash., area to replace one closed in nearby Idaho.
The new 25,000-square-foot facility on I-90 in Liberty Lake, Wash., opened June 24.
Foretravel Northwest – one of six dealerships operated by Foretravel – moved only 12 miles, but increased substantially the dealership’s exposure, according to Director of Marketing Gary Whitsett.
“We are anticipating an improvement in traffic for both sales and service just because of the location,” Whitsett said. “The Idaho dealership in Coeur d’Alene was not on the interstate. It was not a good location.”
Foretravel operated the Idaho dealership for 15 years.
Foretravel manufactures and retails highline motorhomes that carry the company’s brand name at prices ranging from $286,000 to $514,750.
The new Foretravel Northwest is equipped with five 60-foot, pull-through service bays that can accommodate 10 coaches at a time, Whitsett said.
In addition, the company built 11 electricity-equipped campsites that customers can occupy while their coaches are being serviced.
