Four Winds International Corp., introduced its first quadslide floorplan on a gasoline-powered Class A platform in its 2005 Infinity “luxury series” during FMCA’s 72nd International Convention, Aug. 16-19 in Redmond, Ore.
Built on a 24,000-pound GVWR Workhorse W24 chassis, the Infinity 38E – one of seven Infinity floorplans in 32- to 38-foot lengths – features a standard 8.1-liter, 340-hp GM Vortec V-8 engine.
“The W24 opens up a lot more opportunities for floorplans that will be attractive to customers,” said Dana Simon, sales manager of the Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary in Elkhart, Ind., “On a gas coach, it offers many more opportunities than we’ve ever had before.”
The floorplan features kitchen, sofa-dinette and opposing bedroom slideouts and two entryways into the bathroom – one from the hall and the other from the bedroom.
Standard features include laminate flooring, contoured Corian kitchen countertops, dove-tailed kitchen drawers and cedar-lined wardrobes.
A choice of two standard exterior graphics packages, both with partial paint, is available, as are two optional full-body paint schemes. The Infinity 38E retails from $132,900.
