Four Winds International Corp. has introduced a family oriented, mid-bunk floorplan in its Hurricane Class A series designed to sleep as many as eight people. Dealers were shown the gas-powered, 36-foot triple-slide, 2007 Hurricane 34B – built standard on either 20,500-pound GVWR Ford or Workhorse chassis for a base MSRP of $99,980 – in late June at the Thor Industries Inc.’s Elkhart, Ind., facilities. The Hurricane series is available in seven floorplans in 30-34-foot lengths with up to three slideouts. Passenger-side, mid-coach bunks are situated in a 20-inch deep slideout with a 15-inch LCD TV located on the opposite wall. Assembled with vacuum-bonded laminated roofs, walls and floors, the Hurricane sports a new one-piece fiberglass front cap with interior amenities that include residential linoleum, oak cabinets with raised-panel doors and brushed nickel hardware.
