Four Winds International Corp. has introduced the 24-foot Ventura, the first Class B motorhome from the Elkhart, Ind., manufacturer. Built on an imported 8,550-pound GVWR Sprinter 2500 chassis, the Ventura is outfitted with a sofa sleeper that doubles as a king bed. “We felt a Class B was a natural progression,” said Luke Handyside, product manager for the Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary. “This is filling a gap in our product line to make us a full-line manufacturer of motorized RVs.” Four Winds debuted its first Class C on the high fuel-mileage Sprinter chassis at last year’s Louisville Show. The Ventura, available in one 24-foot floorplan, features European-style curved cabinetry, solid surface countertops, 19-inch LCD TVs with stereo systems, exterior wash stations and deluxe rear view mirrors with backup monitors. Retailing from $93,093, Ventura will make its retail debut at the Pennsylvania RV and Camping Show Sept. 8-14 at Hersheypark/Giant Center in Hershey, Pa.
