In only a matter of weeks Abbotsford, British Columbia, will be home to Canada’s largest RV super center.
By early October, Fraserway RV will have all three of its Abbotsford RV locations moved into its new state-of-the-art 12-acre dealership and showroom, according to the Abbotsford Times.
The three locations amalgamating into the center are Fraserway’s Fraser Valley Automall Class A division, its South Fraser Way dealership and Clearbrook Road rentals division.
“We are really excited that we are finally going to have this one-of-a-kind center up and running,” said James Epp, owner and CEO of Fraserway RV.
“There will be no other place like this, not only in Canada but in the NorthWest of the United States, where people can shop for RVs,” he said.
The nearly completed facility will have three specifically designed buildings amounting to more than 100,000 square feet.
The first building houses a unique glass panelled showroom, a retail parts store and corporate offices. The second is a service facility building with 24 bays – each bay measuring 20 feet by 50 feet, a 40- by 100-foot covered customer drop-off area and five covered customer delivery bays. The third building has a full body shop including a paint booth, a warehouse for parts and storage and a new area for Four Seasons RV rentals.
Epp said one of the original reasons Fraserway decided to go ahead with the super center was to keep up with customer demand.
“There is definitely a demand for RVs, and getting into one has never been more affordable with our strong Canadian dollar,” he said.
Fraserway RV will be showcasing the opening of its new super center at the 2008 Snowbird RV Show and Sale Thursday (Sept. 25) to Sunday at Abbotsford’s Tradex.
