National RV dealership alliance FreedomRoads LLC today announced the acquisition of retailer K&C RV, Longmont, Colo.
With its string of additions, the dealer chain’s annual revenue has surpassed the $1 billion mark, accounting for more than 35,000 units in annual retail sales.
In addition, this latest transaction brings FreedomRoads, Lincolnshire, Ill., to 44 locations in 18 states.
Founded in 1973 by Ken and Connie Williamson, K&C has since expanded into Colorado Springs and Golden, making them one of the largest RV dealerships in the Colorado.
The Williamsons will be succeeded by FreedomRoads Colorado Group General Manager Randy Mauzy.
“K&C’s three dealerships are a great fit for FreedomRoads. Having them on our team establishes us in another robust RV market,” said Marcus Lemonis, FreedomRoads chairman, CEO and co-founder.
“We’re excited that dealership is full of highly motivated and experienced talent who have embraced the idea of being part of a national company with all of the benefits it will bring to them and the customers,” said Craig Jensen, FreedomRoads Mountain Regional president and co-founder.
“Ken and Connie built an excellent corps of associates. This is a key part of what we seek in a dealership making this very well founded acquisition,” added Jensen, who also operates FreedomRoads’ Blaine Jensen RV Centers, Kaysville, Utah.
“FreedomRoads growing network of dealership will enable us to do more for the customer, said Mauzy. “A lot of FreedomRoads customers from around the country will pass through Colorado and if they need us we’re here.”
