Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) has hired industry veteran Jeremy Buckmeier as RV product manager, effective immediately.

According to a press release, Buckmeier will help lead FCCC’s RV team and will be responsible for driving product planning, fostering partnerships and programs, supervising OEM account managers and strengthening OEM relationships. He will also work closely with FCCC engineers and OEMs on the development of custom chassis for new RV models.

“We are thrilled Jeremy is joining our RV team in this important role,” said Tony Sippel, director of sales and marketing for FCCC. “His unique combination of enthusiasm, expertise and experience will be key as we continue to strengthen our position as the industry leader.”

Buckmeier’s 17-plus years in RV sales and marketing includes a previous stint at FCCC as technical sales manager from 2006 to 2015. He most recently served as director of OEM sales for KING, a manufacturer of mobile communication systems for the RV industry.

“It’s an absolute honor to be rejoining the FCCC team at such an exciting and important time in the industry,” Buckmeier said. “It takes a total team effort to provide the best ownership experience in the industry, and that starts with the relationships we build and strengthen with our many outstanding OEM partners.”
