Although cold weather kept many visitors away the first day, dealers reported that better weather last weekend helped attendance rebound and sales soar at the Jacksonville RV MegaShow, which ended its four-day run last Sunday at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.
“The show was fantastic for Camping World of Jacksonville,” said General Manager John Schuster. “Although attendance appeared to be off from past years, it was our best-ever RV show here. We sold a lot of RVs and made a bunch of new friends.”
The Florida Times-Union reported that the show, hosted by the Florida RV Trade Association’s (FRVTA) Northeast chapter, helped Schuster promote Camping World’s new location off Interstate 95 on the Northside.
“This show was also the perfect venue to get the word out to Northeast Florida about our brand-new Camping World Supercenter facility in Jacksonville,” he said.
The MegaShow also gave Campers Inn, formerly Rivers RV, on the Westside off Interstate 10, the opportunity to introduce customers to its new name.
“We had a great time introducing the people in this area to the transition of Rivers RV to Campers Inn, and they were all happy to hear that Campers Inn is also a family-run business,” said sales manager Trevor Bild.
