RVs line the grounds at the Lee County Sports Complex at last year’s

Region One of the Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) will host its 23rd Annual RV Show at the Lee County Sports Complex/Hammond Stadium in south Fort Myers April 20-22. According to a press release, the event features seven dealers from throughout Florida’s Gulf Coast displaying a wide selection of new, used and used recreation vehicles of all styles, brands and price ranges.

“This event is held just before the summer traveling season, so consumers can make their plans to experience our great nation,” said Tom Wegge, president of Region One. “Dealers also need to reduce inventories heading into summer, so prices for new and used RVs are lower as well.”

Wegge noted that a key aspect of RVing is its overall affordability. “Statistics continue to show that vacationing in an RV is less expensive than other vacation travel options, even when a purchase is factored in,” he detailed. “Coupled with the overall reduction in fuel costs, an RV vacation is a bargain.”

He added that RVs provide the perfect vehicle ofexploring, tailgating and weekend excursions. “You can bring your entire family together, even the dog, by taking them away,” he explained.
