The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) will support the RV Learning Center of the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association Education Foundation’s with a $15,000 contribution, the organizations announced.
“The Florida RV Trade Association has always taken a leadership position – in time, money and effort – in the education of its members and the RV industry,” said Dell Sanders, of JD Sanders, Inc., Alachua, Fla., and a past chairman of the FRVTA. “Our contribution is our way of saying, ‘Industry members take note: This is a valuable and worthy cause and all who participate will benefit.’ ”
Sanders also is a second vice chairman of the national RVDA.
“We are thrilled to receive this level of support from our state-association partners,” said Rick Horsey, principal of Parkview RV Center is Smyrna, Del., and chairman of the RVDA Education Foundation. “Members of the Florida RV Trade Association deserve special thanks for their leadership and commitment to dealership education.”
The FRVTA contribution is part of an ongoing campaign by the RVDA Education Foundation to support the RV Learning Center. Dealers and their business partners are asked to contribute to the center, which is dedicated to providing dealers and their employees with new and innovative ways to operate RV dealerships; sharing proven methods and practices; and encouraging the highest professional standards for dealerships of all sizes.
RV Learning Center education programs will include distance learning, live workshops, online products, publications and certification for RV dealership personnel.
