Furrion announced  it has filed a lawsuit in the Northern District of Indiana against Way Interglobal LLC, a manufacturer of RV products.

According to a release from Furrion, the lawsuit alleges that Way Interglobal is violating Furrion’s intellectual property by selling its 2-in-1 range ovens. The lawsuit cites unauthorized use of patented technology, trademarks, and copyrights, which is prohibited by law and is intended to protect Furrion’s significant investment in its technology.

“Furrion has a long-standing reputation for investing research and development and doing so is what makes Furrion stand out as a leader in innovation and technology,” said Aaron Fidler, co-founder and chief executive officer for Furrion.  Our engineers and developers have invested their careers in creating the best products on the market.  Furrion applied and was granted several patents to protect their work and the incredible innovation they have put forth into these products.  We will do what is necessary to ensure that technology stays proprietary as we continue to deliver the best possible products and experiences to our customers.”

The lawsuit seeks damages and an injunction to prevent the Defendant from selling any products infringing Furrion’s patented technology.  Furrion received several patents for its 2-in-1 Range Oven earlier in 2019.

“We are committed to our customers in giving them the best possible products,” noted Fidler.  “We  will continue to hold those who seek to infringe on Furrion’s proprietary technology accountable.”
