Gander Outdoors, formerly known as Gander Mountain, is opening five rebranded Gander Mountain stores in New York in the coming months.

According to a Syracuse.com report, the first one to open is in Cicero. That store, which is now open, is planning a grand opening event starting at 9 a.m. Saturday (April 14). The 65,000-square-foot store employs about 55 part-time and full-time employees.

Camping World Holdings Inc. CEO Marcus Lemonis bought Gander Mountain assets in bankruptcy court in May 2017 and is reopening many of the chain’s closed stores.

The stores are among 69 Gander Outdoors to open across the U.S.
