image001The Recreation Vehicle Dealer Association (RVDA) announced that GE Capital, Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), is a Platinum Partner of the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo for the 12th consecutive year. The convention is sponsored by RVDA, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center. The 2015 convention takes place Nov. 2–6 at Bally’s on the Las Vegas Strip.

“The reliable and strong support of GE Capital and our other partners enables RVDA and the RV Learning Center to create an educational event that meets the needs of an industry that’s constantly responding to change,” said RVDA Convention/Expo Committee Chairman Ron Shepherd of Camperland of Oklahoma in a press release. “For twelve years GE has stood by its dealer business partners offering unwavering support for this important event, no matter what the economic climate. We are grateful for that commitment.”

“We continue to support this event year after year because it is a great opportunity for dealers to learn best practices and become stronger businesses,” said Tim Hyland, president of the RV group at GE Capital, Commercial Distribution Finance. “The Convention/Expo offers dealers access to a large variety of training over several days focused on creating excellence, which is why we encourage attendance and are once again a Platinum sponsor.”

The convention theme is Passport to Excellence: Education & Training. The 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo is your ticket to a week of the most outstanding training, education, networking, and leadership development for the entire dealership staff. Low early bird registration rates are available online at the convention website. Dealer members who register by June 30, 2015 pay only $599 to attend and lock in the early bird rate of $549 for the rest of their staff — even those who register at later dates.

The week starts with Vendor Training +Plus on Monday and Tuesday and includes a general session, educational and networking programs for Young Executives, and track workshops designed to address the leading issues facing every department in the dealership. In addition, the Society of Certified RV Professionals will head into its second year with an event featuring recognitions, an education component, and networking opportunities.

Track workshops, condensed into shorter timeframes are being developed to respond to dealer demand for fast-paced, on target, and engaging presentations.   In its planning, the convention committee focuses on dynamic presentations of the most current topics and strives to bring new presenters to the convention. Beyond educational and networking opportunities, the convention offers a sought after location at the center of the Vegas strip at the iconic Bally’s hotel. Guest rooms at the convention rate are available at Bally’s and Paris.

The 2015 convention will also feature two exhibit halls filled with the RV industry’s top companies offering products and services to help dealers improve profitability.
