GE Capital, Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), a leading provider of recreational vehicle dealer financing across North America, is a platinum sponsor of the RV Dealers International Convention and Expo, Nov. 10-14 at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Sponsored by the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA), the event gathers together RV dealers to learn the industry’s latest trends and best practices.
“We have sponsored this event for the last 15 years because of the great opportunities provided to dealers to help them improve their businesses,” said Tim Hyland, president of CDF’s RV group, in a press release. “Strong dealerships are essential to the overall health of the industry and this is a signature event for dealer education.”
Jeff Englander, senior vice president of industry research at GE Capital, will present on the Affordable Healthcare Act on Nov. 11 at 1:15 p.m. PDT. He will cover how the Affordable Healthcare Act can impact a dealer’s business along with the requirements, regulations and deadlines that all dealers need to know.
On Nov. 11, CDF will host keynote speaker Doug Lipp at its exhibit in Booth No. 202. Lipp, the former head of corporate training at Disney, will hold a book signing immediately following the general session at 4 p.m. The first 100 people to arrive at the booth will receive a free copy of his best-selling book “Disney U: How Disney University Develops the World’s Most Engaged, Loyal and Customer-Centric Employees.”
The Expo will end with the Top 50 Dealer Awards Program and gala, of which CDF is a sponsor. The program was revived after a three-year hiatus. “We are proud to sponsor the Top 50 program once again as it is a great way to recognize outstanding dealer performance,” said Hyland. “With the RV industry healthy and strong, this is a great time to bring back the program and honor dealers who have demonstrated solid business performance and customer service.”
