GE Capital logoGE Capital, Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) has named Steve Battreall president and CEO, effective immediately.

Battreall, a 28-year GE veteran, was previously the chief commercial officer at CDF, providing oversight to the commercial organization and enhancing new relationship development strategies. He began his GE career in 1987 as part of the Financial Management Program. Following positions at GE Aircraft Engines and GE Power Generation, he joined GE Capital and since then has held sales and commercial leadership roles in a number of equipment finance and corporate finance businesses.

Battreall received his bachelor’s in economics from DePauw University.

CDF is a leading provider of inventory financing, also known as floorplan financing, which allows dealers to stock, market and sell a wide variety of products from manufacturers.
