Monaco Coach Corp. announced today (Oct. 6) that it has hired Patrick Terveer as national sales manager for the company’s Holiday Rambler motorized division.
Terveer was most recently president of motorhome builder Georgie Boy Manufacturing LLC, a business unit of Elkhart, Ind.-based Coachmen Industries Inc. He was named to the position in June of 2002.
Prior to joining Georgie Boy, Terveer spent a number of years with Fleetwood’s American Coach division.
“Pat has an extensive background in the RV industry,” said Mike Snell, vice president of sales and marketing for Coburg, Ore.-based Monaco. “He started out on a production line in 1975, worked his way up through the sales department and went on to be president of a competitor’s division. We know that Pat will bring a wealth of knowledge to Holiday Rambler and we are very excited to have him join our team.”
In early September, Coachmen announced that it would be moving Georgie Boy’s operations from Edwardsburg, Mich., to the company’s RV manufacturing complex in Middlebury, Ind. Coachmen said Georgie Boy would be operating in a more modern facility that would improve production efficiencies.
