German motorhome manufacturer  Concorde Reisemobile GmbH recently unveiled its new Centurion 1200 motorhome at the CMT Holiday Exhibition in Stuttgart. The RVing Examiner reported that the launch of the mega-motorhome, based on the heavy-duty Mercedes-Benz Actros truck chassis, had been plugged solidly on the company’s Facebook page for prior to the show. Concorde’s aptly named “Centurion” rests on the triple-axle Mercedes-Benz Actros 2542 chassis and includes full air suspension. Powered by a six-cylinder 12.8 litre engine that’s mated to a fully automatic 12-speed Mercedes PowerShift transmission. Concorde — originally established in 1981 as an RV components manufacturer — began specialist trailer production in 1982 and motor home production in 1983.
