Giant RV held a grand opening for its new location in Downey, Calif., on April 20, which drew over 150 people. According to a press release, several civic leaders attended the celebration including Mayor Pro Tem Rick Rodriguez, Joanna Peterson, president of the Downey Chamber of Commerce, Fire Chief Mark Gillaspie, and Captain Dean Milligan with the Downey Police Department. Several other attendees included members of the Downey Chamber of Commerce, Downey Unified School District, Downey Symphony, and Cerritos College as well as Ana Perez and Aldo Ramirez representing the 32nd Senate District office. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, guests enjoyed food served at the carving station along with beverages while listening to a jazz soloist. The 11-acre facility facility showcases 100 RVs in a 100,000-square-foot indoor showroom.
