The Nov. 29 Outlook 2006 Breakfast kicking off the 43rd Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., will be highlighted by the unveiling of the Go RVing Phase IV television commercials and print advertisements.
According to the host Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), the new ads will answer the evocative question “What Will You Discover? Go RVing” and are scheduled to begin appearing in early 2006. RVIA said the campaign will continue to “elevate the industry’s profile” by targeting young families and minority groups, who are prominently featured in the creative.
Actor Tom Selleck, who returns as the voice of the TV commercials, will address the Outlook Breakfast audience with a pre-recorded message on video.
The program also will include a report from Go RVing’s Don Walter, Tom Stinnett and Gary LaBella on the progress by Go RVing over the past 10 years, with major announcements regarding media placement of the new TV commercials and how dealers can maximize leads.
In addition, Baseball Hall of Famer Bob Gibson will receive RVIA’s Spirit of America Award and CNBC correspondent Mike Hegedus will be presented with RVIA’s Distinguished Achievement in RV Journalism Award. Several other celebrity guests are also scheduled to appear at the breakfast.
This year’s Outlook Breakfast has changed venues and will be held in the newly built South Wing Lobby C Mezzanine Ballroom of the expanded Kentucky Exposition Center.
“With the new venue, debut of the new creative and an action-packed agenda full of fun and surprises, RVIA is expecting its largest crowd ever for its Outlook breakfast, which has been kicking off the Louisville Show for 10 years,” said Gary LaBella, RVIA vice president of public relations and advertising.
