Tying in with the upcoming launch of Go RVing’s new “Ambassadors of Affordability” television ads, a variety of new advertising and promotion materials will be available in the “industry-only” section of the GoRVing.com website to aid dealers, campgrounds and show promoters in their own marketing efforts, according to a news release from the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).
Participating companies will have access not only to the proven leads database, image library, toolbox and ad builder on the site, but also new marketing materials drawn from the new national campaign. The industry-only section will contain downloadable files for large-format artwork of the Ambassadors of Affordability animals that can be created at local print or sign shops and used in displays. Similar cut-outs were well-received at the Go RVing booth at the Louisville show.
Go RVing is modifying the new TV spots to include a five-second taggable segment that can be personalized for dealer or show use. Broadcast quality b-roll, filmed in Elkhart last August, is available for creating local ads featuring the newest and most innovative products. Also available is a revised looping DVD for show or showroom play that features the new consumer video and the Ambassadors of Affordability ads. The industry-only section of GoRVing.com will contain ordering information for dealers, show promoters and campgrounds. All registered participants receive a password.
For those who want to venture into no-cost social media marketing, the industry-only section will contain a presentation which walks through the advantages and tells how to create a Facebook fan page or Twitter account to reach out to customers and prospects.
Go RVing consumer CDs and DVDs are once again being offered free of charge to show promoters to distribute to attendees. To assist in generating consumer traffic and media coverage, Go RVing continues to provide Go RVing press kits to promoters and local media outlets.
In mid-December, an e-mail was sent to show promoters nationwide inviting them to take advantage of the materials available from Go RVing. For information on how to register for the Go RVing industry tie-in program, contact Margie Spence, RVIA advertising manager, at [email protected] or (703) 620-6003, ext. 357.
