RV Business Publisher Sherman Goldenberg has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president/RV trade publications to “recognize and expand the leadership role he has played in the dramatic improvement and increasing impact” of RV Business (RVB) and Woodall’s Campground Management (WCM) in the RV and RV park/campground sectors, reports Bill Estes, vice president and publisher of RV Consumer & Trade Publications for TL Enterprises Inc., an affiliate of Affinity Group Inc., Ventura, Calif.
“RVB has eclipsed the competition as the industry’s leading trade journal, and its highly regarded web site has gained stature and recognition in the industry as well, especially among key industry decision-makers,” Estes stated in a Friday (Nov. 21) release. “He has put Woodall’s Campground Management on a similar track.
“Another important aspect of the new position is to further expand Goldenberg’s visibility in the two industries, where he has combined a news media background with intimate knowledge of RV product lines and RV/campground business strategies.”
A political science graduate of Indiana University, Goldenberg worked as a newspaper reporter and editor before contributing to TL publications as a freelance writer in the mid-1980’s and joining the RV Business staff in 1987 as midwest editor. He served as an associate publisher and then as publisher of RVB, as well as WCM.
