Good Sam Parks and TengoInternet have entered into a partnership to offer wireless Internet networks to designated Good Sam campgrounds at a discounted rate.
According to a press release, the Good Sam Parks designation is earned by offering a 10% discount to members of the Good Sam Club. With nearly a million members, this creates increased occupancy for the over 1,700 Good Sam Parks.
“It’s another step in taking care of the RVer while at the same time supporting the campground,” said Joe Daquino, multimedia division vice-president for the Affinity Group Inc (AGI), parent of RV Business and RVBUSINESS.com “We’re pleased with this partnership because TengoInternet fits our model of services and commitment for the outdoor hospitality industry. Their substantial growth this year with RV parks and campgrounds we serve is what attracted us to them.”
“TengoZones” are exclusive high-speed wireless Internet access “hot spots” available at RV parks and hotels throughout the U.S. and Mexico, which can be accessed with a computer and a Wi-Fi certified adapter.
TengoInternet said customers can connect from almost anywhere in a resort or inside their RV. In the “TengoZone,” RVers will enjoy high-speed wireless access to send and receive e-mail, pictures and attachments, find local areas of interest, use online applications, access their company’s intranet, browse the Internet and pay bills online.
