The Good Sam Club has added a new facet to its roadside assistance program with the introduction of Platinum Emergency Road Service (ERS).
According to a press release, the Platinum ERS package offers extra benefits such as protection on any vehicle driven by the member, including owned, leased and rented or borrowed vehicles. Customers also have access to an RV tech assist hotline that features ASE certified technicians to answer RV-specific questions.
Good Sam said the Platinum ERS program was created to offer travelers a more comprehensive and higher level of emergency road service.
“Our members have been asking for the expanded benefits we incorporated into the new Platinum ERS program and we listened,” said Mark Kupper, executive vice president, Affinity Road and Travel Club Inc. “Initial reactions from our members have been fantastic and we have exceeded all early sales expectations.”
Kupper noted that Good Sam ERS also has the largest network of RV tow and service providers.
“The key to our success is our network of service providers who specialize in RVs,” said Kupper. “It’s the critical component that distinguishes our program from other roadside assistance programs.”
Good Sam is a business unit of Affinity Group Inc., parent to RVBUSINESS.com and RV Business magazine.
