Goshen, Ind.-based Quality Drive Away and Foremost Transport are actively promoting a companywide fundraising campaign that pledges a portion of revenue from every mile driven by its drivers to relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Jim Nywening, vice president for Quality Drive Away, reported in a release that since launching that program last week, $16,156 has been raised. The donation will be sent to the American Red Cross and used for immediate disaster relief, emergency assistance and other services needed by those impacted by the hurricane. 

Nywening said that the companies sent a simple message to its drivers to encourage their participation. “Let this be your guiding thought. For the coming week, I will help others. I will help others by delivering vehicles, knowing that my driving will contribute to those in need. This isn’t about Quality Drive Away or Foremost Transport or our collective customers. This is about helping those who need us most, right now.  Please do what you can to help us have an impact together.”
