Guaranty RV staff attends gathering to mark dealer being honored with Newmar’s Mahlon Miller Service Award

Guaranty RV Super Centers held a March 16 celebratory gathering at its Motorized Showcase facility in Junction City, Ore., marking the dealer’s acceptance of the Mahlon Miller Service Excellence Award and 2016 Platinum Dealer Award from Nappanee, Ind.-based builder Newmar Corp.

According to a press release, the event was attended by Guaranty employees and staff along with several Newmar representatives, including Chairman and CEO Richard Parks; Matt Utley, vice president of service and parts operations; Vice President of Sales and Marketing John Sammut; Director of Sales Jay Kinney; and Chad Faulk, service account manager.

“Our friends from Newmar came clear across the country to put a little wind in our sails to give us some of the background on what it takes to win some of these awards,” noted Shannon Nill, president of Guaranty RV Super Centers.

In honor of Newmar founder Mahlon Miller, the award recognizes those dealerships that most embody the spirit of customer service. To qualify as a platinum dealer a dealership must meet a stringent list of requirements including having a Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score of 90% or above, passing tough facility evaluations, having a commitment to training and employing a certain percentage of technicians who are RVIA and/or RVIA master certified.

“As confirmed by their customers, the dealers earning this award possess a strong commitment of customer satisfaction that permeates through their entire organization,” the release stated.

Sammut added, “We, at Newmar, try to build our products with the best quality possible. Knowing that the motorhomes we manufacture travel down the road and vibrate, however, things can and do go wrong. Newmar is very fortunate to have quality dealers such as Guaranty RV to provide the best possible service to our mutual customers when something does go awry.”
