Gulf Stream Coach Inc. Travel Trailer Division continues to outperform prior year numbers for the third consecutive month, according to a news release.

Sales for August totaled 504 units, compared to 354 in August 2008, representing a 25.1% gain in market share for travel trailers, the Nappanee, Ind.-based company stated, citing a report by Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Statistical Surveys Inc.

Gulf Stream has posted three consecutive months of market share gains.

“Year to date Gulf Stream market share percentage is up over 25% for our travel trailers,” said John Stringer, national sales manager for the towable division. “We continue to add product with high quality and value with a low price to our lineup and are building what the dealers are asking for.”

“In over 17 years with Gulf Stream, I have never been more proud or impressed with the total package of products that we are selling today,” said Phil Sarvari, executive vice president. “We will be unveiling several products and product enhancements at Louisville that will set the standard.”
