The Travel Trailer Division of Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is increasing its market share, the company reported in a news release.
Sales for July totaled 666 units, compared to 517 in July 2008, representing a 14.9% gain in market share, according to Statistical Surveys Inc.
“Our travel trailer numbers were on target with the goals we set forth earlier in the year,” said Steve Jacobs, national sales manager for Gulf Stream’s ultralight division. “We have added 52 dealer distribution points since April to sell our new ”Sport “product alone. This addition of new business reflects the wholesale shipments for August. Laminated ultralights were up 68% in wholesale shipments.”
“Not only are we shipping and retailing more units but we have added a tremendous amount of new floorplans and redesigned product ahead of Louisville,” said Phil Sarvari, executive vice president.” Our dealers will have an advantage come show season. The new product is available now, not Louisville when you only have limited time to build for show season.”
