Gulf Stream Coach Inc.’s ultra-lightweight division has introduced the new SVT (Super Value Trailer) series of travel trailers with three floorplans to satisfy the growing demand for efficient, lightweight laminated wall trailers.
Taking advantage of the technology built into the company’s well-established Gulf Breeze, and Streamlite product lines, the SVT series uses vacuum-bonded laminated fiberglass walls and an aerodynamic laminated fiberglass front profile to create a stiff, lightweight, resilient body with great looks, extremely low overall weight, and easy upkeep.
“RV buyers recognize the clear advantages of laminated construction, but many first-timers and value shoppers saw the price of laminated trailers as an obstacle,” said Tim Dennig, director of sales for the ultra-lightweight division, in a press release. “Our new SVT series breaks through this resistance with an entirely new price point between conventional construction and typical laminated products. The result is that SVT buyers get the benefits of laminated construction for a breakthrough low price.
“We didn’t hold back on quality construction with the SVT Series, unlike some of our competitors,” Dennig added. “Rather than discontinued fabrics, flooring, and cabinets, we’re using designer fabrics, congoleum non-stick flooring, and custom handcrafted wood cabinetry in our most popular new color, Roanoke Cherry, just like the interiors in our top-of-the-line products.”
Other features include 13,500 Btu air conditioning versus side-mounted window air; oversized exterior slam-latch baggage doors; a friction hinge entry door; large fresh, black and gray water tanks; a maximum width Lippert awning; LED lighting throughout; and a 5-cubic-foot refrigerator.
