Gulf Stream Coach Inc.’s Luxury Class A Motorhome Division shipped more units in February than in any month in the company’s 21-year history.
The Nappanee, Ind., manufacturer posted a 36% increase in shipments over the previous February. Those figures are currently outpacing the industry, which showed a 16.1% increase in motorhome shipments for January.
Claude Donati, vice president of sales and marketing, outlined three reasons behind the division’s success:
“One: The introduction of the affordable real diesel Crescendo is driving up sales. Two: The retail demand for our innovative sun room slideout now available on the Scenic Cruiser, Friendship G7, Sun Voyager 8379, and the Atrium motorhomes has been incredible. And finally, we have many dealers who are turning the product in 60 days or less.”
Dave Middleton, Class A national sales manager added: “There is no question that the product is better than ever before, but the true improvement over the last several years is the addition of quality dealers to our already strong service-oriented dealer body.”
