Gulf Stream Coach Inc. is reporting strong dealer response from the launch of its Capri lightweight travel trailer at September’s Elkhart RV Open House.
According to a press release, the new Capri is available in 20- to 27-foot lengths and features an art-deco teal metal exterior.
“Dealers at the Open House told us they see significant sales opportunities for a product like the Capri, that gets back to the basics of outdoor fun,” said Paul Campbell, Gulf Stream director of marketing. “They are seeing a growing segment of the RV market, both experienced owners and newcomers, looking for simple, rugged, well-built trailers that have a unique, engaging look, and a value price that fits perfectly into tight budgets and busy lifestyles.”
The Capri line is set off by a pop of bright exterior color coupled with a fresh, new interior decor.
“We’re telling people to consider Capri to be their ‘base camp’ in the great outdoors,”
Campbell said. “Sure, it has all the comforts and conveniences of a well-designed, well-built travel trailer, but Capri gives people an affordable way to realize their dreams of travel, adventure and relaxation.”
The initial release of Capri models includes seven floorplans, with net base weights of 3,000 to 4,000 pounds. Gulf Stream Coach will display the Capri line at the upcoming National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
