Gulf Stream Coach Inc. will offer an encore presentation of its model year 2002 products to interested dealers beginning Saturday (June 23).
The new model year units will be displayed in South Bend, Ind., outside of the Airport Days Inn located near the entrance to the Michiana Regional Transportation Center.
The Nappanee, Ind.-based company will display its products at the Airport Days Inn through June 30.
Free limousine service to the Gulf Stream gathering will be provided to dealers staying at hotels in downtown South Bend.
South Bend will be the location for two other RV manufacturer/dealer meetings during the next several days. The Damon Corp. dealer meeting will take place June 24-25 and the Monaco Coach Corp. meeting is scheduled for June 27-29, both inside the Century Center in downtown South Bend.
Among Gulf Stream’s new products for 2002 is the Friendship diesel Class A motorhome, which was “totally revamped” for for the new model year, according to Brian Shea, president of the Motorhome Division.
The 2002 Friendship comes on a Freightliner chassis with a 330-horsepower Cummins engine. Walnut cabinets and floors are standard while white laminate cabinetry and ceramic tile are available as options.
Corian countertops and flush-floor slideouts are standard on the new Friendship and French doors are standard on the “walk-through” floorplan. A mirrored living room is standard with the 40-foot floorplan.
Suggested base retail for the 2002 Friendship ranges from $154,000 to $177,000.
Gulf Stream’s Sun Voyager gas engine Class A also was “rejuvenated” for 2002, Shea added.
The Ford 22,000-pound gross vehicle weight rated (gvwr) chassis is standard for the 2002 Sun Voyager and the Workhorse 22,000-pound gvwr chassis is available as an option.
The Sun Voyager comes in 32- to 37-foot lengths, its interior was upgraded and it is available with double superslide floorplans. Six-panel interior doors are standard and suggested retail prices range from $80,000 to $90,000 for the 32 footer, to $100,000 to $120,000 for the 37-foot model.
